These terms govern your use of Ova: Private Period Tracker, provided by Wisecodex.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By using Ova, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Ova is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
2. Purpose
Ova helps you record menstrual-cycle dates, symptoms, measurements, activities, and notes. It may provide estimated period, fertile-window, and ovulation dates for personal wellness and planning.
3. Health disclaimer
Predictions are estimates based on information you provide. They can be early, late, change, or be unavailable. Bodies and cycles vary. Never rely on Ova to prevent pregnancy, confirm pregnancy, determine “safe” days, or make urgent medical decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about bleeding, pain, fertility, pregnancy, or cycle changes.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide and review information carefully.
- Protect access to your device.
- Keep your operating system updated.
- Use Ova only for lawful personal purposes.
- Seek professional or emergency help when appropriate.
5. Local data and availability
Ova does not require an account for its core functions. Health records are stored locally on your device. Removing the app, erasing app data, losing the device, or device failure may permanently remove those records. You are responsible for any device backup or recovery method you choose to use.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Ova, disrupt its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use it to harm another person, or reverse engineer it where prohibited by applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
Ova’s software, branding, original text, and visual materials are owned by or licensed to Wisecodex. These terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the app. They do not transfer ownership.
8. Service changes
Wisecodex may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features. Material changes affecting privacy or these terms will be reflected in updated notices. Store updates may be required for continued compatibility.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, Ova is provided “as is” and “as available.” Wisecodex does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, data recovery, prediction accuracy, or fitness for a medical or contraceptive purpose. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wisecodex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of Ova, reliance on estimates, device loss, or local data loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Termination
You may stop using Ova at any time and erase local data from Settings. Wisecodex may restrict use when required by law, store policy, security, or material breach of these terms.
12. Changes and contact
Wisecodex may update these terms and will change the effective date for material updates. Questions can be sent to support@wisecodex.com.
